Members, I received the attached fax from the AFGE 7th District concerning the continuing problems associated with the AFGE Dental Trust. I know many of you became members in the last couple of years partly due to the AFGE Dental Trust. I joined the Dental Trust but just quit effective 2/1/01 because of the premium increases and lack of any customer service. I called the Zenith Administrators one day and actually got the number to ring (no small feat in itself) and put the phone on speaker mode to see how long it would take to get a live service representative. I gave up after 2 1/2 hours as I didn't want to tie up the Union phone any longer. I will send the 7th district letter to John LaMotte. I have complained to him in the past. I don't know what else to do other than caution you about the possibility of throwing any more money away on this program. I'm sorry about all the problems and I am outraged.
